I'm back!

It seems I've been gone from here for a whole school term ><!! But the whole term passed by really quickly. I was taking 3 courses and working on the weekends. Can't imagine how it'd be like next term when I'm taking 4 courses and working 3 days a week!

So anyways this is gonna be a pretty heavy post. I have 3 things to blog about: Afternoon Tea, Online-shopping haul (Roxy & ASOS), and Shoe packing! Okay I've decided to leave my shoe-packing photos for a later post as right now I'm done with writing the ASOS haul section and it already seems like the post is overloaded.

Pardon for the bad-quality photos. They were all taken with my iPhone :X !

Not-so-formal Black-&-Whites

I do want to post about my most recent online shopping hauls, but I don't have time to take/upload/edit photos recently due to work (my schedule is now 4-6 days a week). So, I decided to post a couple of items I came across when doing some online shopping! Hey, it's still a post about fashion... thus I've fixed the "problem" mentioned in the previous post :P !

I really wanted these items when I was online shopping, but due to the items being out of stock or out of size (ahhah both abbreviate to OOS how convenient), I can't get them :( so I will just keep their photos as admiration / memory hahaha.

The items also turn out to be in black-and-white coincidentally, thus the stupid title of this post :X hehe.

This first one is a military style blazer which I ADORE! I'm so bummed that there's no more of these in stock but if I ever see them in stock anywhere I'll definitely get them *_*!

Afternoon Tea

Last Sunday, I went for my first afternoon tea ever with my boyfriend, little sis, and a good friend at Meloty in Richmond. This post will be a little photo-heavy!

Initially, Kevin wasn't supposed to come along but Cindy instead, as we had bought coupons for afternoon tea at the Fairmont Hotel (Vancouver Airport location). But due to some complications we had to switch locations and Cindy wasn't able to make it :T so I asked Kevin along since I didn't want him to go out and have lunch by himself.

Upon entering, I was a bit amazed at how big the place was, even though I've seen some photos online. The interior decor was nice (the washrooms were pretty amazing) and they sort of have 2 floors (upper floor was small, with only 4 tables). We were placed on the upper floor since the ground floor was full.

Work and Balloons

I thought I'd quickly update this before an upcoming afternoon tea post!

So I worked Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday this week. I get to blow up balloons at work ^^!

This was me on Thursday, second time ever blowing up helium balloons (first time being on Tuesday). Kevin just hung around for a bit so he watched/helped me with the balloons. He was almost yelling at me for making the balloons so big... hahaha. BUT I LIKE EM BIG!

Food for 18 months Together

Time flies! Yesterday marked the 18th month of our relationship :)
Happy (literally) 18th Mensiversary Kevin!

We booked a dinner at Federico's since we read good reviews about the place, and it was also 2 of the Best Bite Awards from this year's Dine Out Vancouver Festival. We got there on time, and walked in to a HUGE group of people (and noise) near the entrance. Turns out that a lady was celebrating her 60th birthday with her family at the restaurant.

The hostess walked us to our table with menus (while we were still trying to get accustomed to the noise...). As we walked in, we saw an old-school dance floor in the middle of the restaurant, with a stage right behind it. Didn't take any pictures of the empty dance floor since little kids were running around chasing balloons, haha.

Lazy homemade dinners

look somewhat like this whenever we decide to cook (which is as often as possible when we're not too busy, since we rather not get take-out all the time). Oh we used to cook udon pretty often too but since we haven't found udon going for good deals the last couple times we went grocery shopping, we shall survive on pasta. Anyway. Pasta, sweet corn, and easy-bake fish.

Sauce differs each time -- tomato to alfredo to some fancy shmancy ones with garlic or whatever (pretty good). And sometimes we decide to just eat the pasta with Campbell's Mushroom Soup (with broccoli or cauliflower) or boil corn with the pasta to eat the pasta straight from the soup.

Starting Afresh

Hey guys!

For those of you who've known me for awhile, you'd know I've had at least 3 (4 actually) other blogs before this one (ahhaha...). I starting blogging since I was in Primary School (?) back in Singapore. So that's... at least 10 years ago lol! Ever since I had changed my blog several times (Blogger > Xanga > Xanga > Xanga > blogger) and I think the longest I've used a single blog was for 3 or 4 years.

Anyhow, after a long blogging break (of more than a year), I've decided to get back to blogging again. Thinking back, I wasn't as happy a person as I was now and I ranted essays in my previous blogs. My goal for this new blog is to have as many happy memories as I can record, as well as trying to refrain from blogging about unhappy moments (unless it's super post-worthy lol?). Let's see how well I do! Hopefully this will be my last blog-change as well :P ...

Le blog is still under construction so please pardon any mess you might encounter, L0L.

For those of you who know me, follow me!! <3
